The 100,000 square foot School of Nursing for Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital in Syracuse, New York is the only project of its kind in the Northeast. This multi-use building contains a medical library, dormitory, classrooms, laboratories, offices, lecture hall, and multipurpose room, as well as an integrated parking garage. 

 Edgewater was responsible for the design and construction management of the building and the purchase and installation of interior furnishings under a guaranteed maximum contract of $13,000,000. This project is unique because of its complexity and highly-specialized uses. Construction was completed in March 1991, one month ahead of schedule with $1,247,000 (9.6%) savings returned to the owner.  Net project cost $11,753,000
