Nettleton Commons, Syracuse, NY

This 96,000 square foot, five-story, downtown Syracuse project involved the total interior and exterior renovation/restoration of a 100-year old structure (actually four adjoining buildings) that formerly housed the Nettleton Shoe Factory. The National Register eligible building was remodeled to provide a mixed-use facility with the three top stories configured as 61  studio, one- and two- bedroom apartments, and, on the first two floors, a total of 34,000 square feet of retail/commercial space. The project commenced in November of 1986 and was completed in March 1988.
